About Me - Radio Controled Flying

Flying radio controlled planes is not as simple as you might think. It requires patience, concentration and good motor skills to work the transmitter controls. Learning to fly RC planes and Helicopters is new to me as I have only been flying since 2013. I enjoy flying my glider the best as on a good day I can keep it up for very long periods of time, as it requires the motor only to get altitude.

About Me - Rocks And Gems - Gold Panning

Panning gold is basically simple, once you realize that you are doing the same thing that the river does when it causes gold to concentrate and deposit during times of high water. The Ministry has created a number of recreational panning reserves around the Province that are open to the general public to use for recreational gold panning. Recreational panning is restricted to hand pans, hand shovels, and metal detectors.

About Me - Astronomy and Astrophotography

Astrophotography is a specialized type of photography that entails recording images of astronomical objects and large areas of the night sky. The first photograph of an astronomical object (the Moon) was taken in 1840, but it was not until the late 19th century that advances in technology allowed for detailed stellar photography. Besides being able to record the details of extended objects such as the Moon, Sun, and planets, astrophotography has the ability to image objects invisible to the human eye such as dim stars, nebulae, and galaxies.
